| THE
KWPN IN THE UK UKWPN

In 2004 KWPN announced their intention to support and fund
an official UKWPN programme following a 2 year pilot
scheme. These have included meetings, demonstrations
and lectures, and in both 2002 and 2003 a mare grading and foal
inspection proved highly popular amongst KWPN horse owners and
breeders.
To
enable you to understand how the KWPN operates, and therefore
how the UKWPN will function here is a brief explanation:
The
KWPN office is operated by 40 full time staff working within 5
departments. These departments are:

Registration
-
Inspection and Judging (field work and breeding programmes –
advising on breeding philosophy)

Finance
-
Public Relations (i.e. event organisation)

Publishing
The
KWPN has 12 departments throughout Holland. Each department is
controlled by 5 members and operates in conjunction with the KWPN
within a department budget.
The
UKWPN will operate as a department of the KWPN. Events will be
organised by the UKWPN Initiative Group and voluntary UKWPN supporters.
Support and funding will be provided by the KWPN in Holland.
The
UKWPN initiative group will organise all UKWPN events, assisted
by the KWPN and UKWPN supporters.
All
administration/registration will continue through the KWPN in
Holland e.g. foal registration, passports, transfer of ownership.
